Another Fine Hike Through The Local Woodlot

Hi friends!

Angus the Corgi here to report on another overcast late November day in my nick of the woods.

I previously mentioned there was some crazy early snowfall in early November, but after a few days of warmth all the snow has melted away, and we are back to the weather and landscape that me and my pawrents are used to for the month of November.

Here is a video of me on one of my several routes that I walk on every morning before my pawrents go to work. This video is sort of special because my usual videographer is trying out a new video equipment called a gimbal. Apparently it smooths out the bumps and shakiness that is inherent in a video where the camera person is moving. It is good because I’m always on the move!

Hope you liked the video and I hope to have more videos of my hikes up using this new gimbal!

Ah It’s Snowing Already In November!

Hello friends,

Angus the Corgi here with another update! So it is November here in my nick of the woods, and usually it’s around 5°C and drizzly but nothing crazy like snow. Well, we have lots of snow right now, which is great! I love running in snow and when my paw-rents aren’t looking I’ll eat a bit of that snow too!

Here’s a small snippet of me enjoying the first snowfall!

If we continue to get cold enough temperatures for snowfall and it continues till March next year I’ll just be so giddy! My paw-rents on the other is yelling sometime about the darn polar vortex coming so often these days.

Another windy day hits my fur

Hello friends,

It’s been very windy the past few days, so the local kite flyers must be having a field day showing off their latest wind flying creations! Maybe I’ll have a kite of my own one day…

I personally love a nice windy (and sunny) day because it feels nice to have the wind hit my fur. It is quite cooling for someone that has a double fur coat that is currently in winter-thick mode like me.

Ok, so we’re in Spring now, which means I’ll be going on a camping trip soon! So check back with me soon to see how much fun (or how much rain) I had on the trip. See you all soon! 🐶

Enjoying a nice windy Spring day at the park

Hi friends,

Angus here for another update in the life and times of Angus the Corgi!

So I get walks everyday, and I walk through all sorts of weather conditions, from nice and sunny to cold and raining. We are in Spring now here in my nick of the woods, and so we gets all sorts of weather, it’s even supposed to snow a bit this week!

But today we have overcast and windy, so here’s a short video of me enjoying a walk in the wind. The wind is strong in this video, so if your volume is set a bit too high, it might get real loud!

Have a nice week everyone!

Finally a nice day here in my town in Ontario

Hi friends!

Angus the Corgi here with another post on a nice December morning here in Richmond Hill. I remember last year we at least had some sunshine in November last year, but this year I maybe saw two days of  sunshine last month. What a drag. According to this weather site (I like talking about the weather because I’m Canadian, that’s what we complain about), even Vancouver got more sunshine that us. That’s not fair! If they get mild temperatures through winter, then they shouldn’t have more sunshine too ?. But I kid, I would like to go there some day for a fine adventure ?

Here’s a photo of me enjoying the two best things in life: a nice walk on a sunny day and a nice piece of wood. In this instance, it is a nice piece of bark!

I’m going to enter the Canterbury Corgi races one day!

Hi friends,

Angus here with another update of my shenanigans this summer.

So I really like to run around with my friends at the park, but yeah, I’m a little bit slower than the Labs and other longer-legged friends. But I feel like because of these trainings sessions, I’m quite fast for a Corgi:

Finally spring has arrived!

Hello friends! It’s been a long time since the groundhogs back in February thought it was going to be another 6 weeks till the end of winter, but spring has finally sprung! We’re in the beginning of May, so the groundhogs were too optimistic. There’s still a bit of snow left on the ground, but I hear the birds chirping and the tree buds coming out of their branches.

I got to go on a hike last weekend, and I found a nice stick!

Well, hopefully it doesn’t snow again this year! Because I want to go on more hikes ?.
